	January 04 The group celebrated the opening of its 500th outlet in Shenyang, China.       March 04 Launched a new supplement specially blended to improve and maintain one's skin in good condition. Named Nourish REFINE, it takes the extra step in skin care, by nourishing and protecting skin, from the inside. Founder and CEO Mr Ron Sim was conferred The Business Times "Businessman of the Year".       April 04 Launched a new intelligent massage chair that synchronises to audio-visual signals, delivering the world's first multi-sensory massage experience the iSymphonic AV. Announced group net profit increase of 29% to $5.4M for the first quarter ended 31 March 2004. This is in line with long term growth target of 20% to 30%.       June 04 Group introduced the iEcologi to Singapore, this all-in-one cleaning wonder steams, sucks and sanitises with the power of water and steam all at the same time. It also combines the cleaning functions of a vacuum and steam cleaner, and features a 4-stage EcoActive filtration system.       July 04 Announced group achieved 20% increase in turnover to $160.2M and a net profit growth of 26% to $13.6M for the six months ended 30 June 2004. Proposed an interim dividend of 0.7 cents per share. Sponsored the OSIM Singapore International Triathlon, one of the largest triathlon events in Asia. Launched a full range of massage chairs with varying price ranges in Singapore.       September 04 Signed a conditional Put and Call Deed for 31.13% of Global Active Limited. Awarded the International Headquarters status by EDB. Signed a Master Franchise Agreement with Delhi-based Paramount Surgimed Ltd for sale of OSIM products in India and Nepal. Awarded the Most Transparent Company Award (Commerce) in SIAS Investors' Choice Awards 2004.       October 04 Shanghai Office shifted to a bigger location. 	February 03 OSIM opened first outlet in Philippines.       March 03 International Enterprise Singapore and OSIM presented results of an international study on the OSIM brand, which established OSIM brand value at $203m. OSIM was ranked first in Business Times' Corporate Transparency Index. OSIM unveiled its new face Gong Li in Shanghai.       April 03 OSIM launched the iSymphonic, the world's first massage chair that synchronizes massage and music. It was voted "Invention of the Year" by Time magazine. OSIM group announced a turnover increase of 25% to $52.5m and net profit increase of 29% to $4.2m for the 3 months ended 31 March 2003. OSIM acquired 29.9% of Global Active for S$9.568m. Global Active, as GNC's franchisee for Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and China, is principally engaged in the marketing and sale of nutraceutical products through a point-of-sale network of 62 outlets. OSIM Saudi Arabia opened first outlet. OSIM signed MOUs with franchisees in India and Ukraine.       May 03 OSIM and Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust entered into a Put and Call Option Agreement in respect of the sale and leaseback of OSIM Headquarters building for a total purchase price of $35m.
